It is twinned between Zebri Parma and Teatro Reggio

Teamwork, responsibility and inclusion, especially towards all sensitive communities. The founding values of Zebre Parma rugby are reflected in those that Teatro Regio di Parma makes, which takes a back seat to the many cultural projects it produces and promotes.

Desiring to join forces for this common goal, Zebre Parma is the Fair Play partner of the Teatro Regio di Parma.

A collaboration that will materialize in different projects, with the aim of communicating and promoting common values in the name of sport, music and theater and involving the most fragile realities and peripheries, paying special attention to the common fabric of the city and the region.

During the 2023/24 football season, which begins on Saturday 21 October 2023 with the meeting at the Sergio Lanfranchi Stadium with the Northern Irish Ulster side, Zebre Teatro Regio di Parma will count among their institutional partners.

The Regio crest will be depicted on the match kits worn by David Sisi and company during prestigious international matches against major teams from Europe, the United Kingdom and South Africa competing in the United Rugby Championship and EPCR Challenge Cup tournaments.

This is a one-of-a-kind event at the tournament: The Zebras will be the first United States Rugby Championship club to feature the logo of an art-cultural institution on the game’s official jersey.

Another important piece in the mosaic of relations with the territory of the Ducal Privilege who, besides its own sporting activity, will be committed to promoting the Reggio Theater and in particular the Verdi Festival on the occasion of its international meetings with communities of enthusiasts who wish to experience the unique experience of listening to Verdi’s music in the Verdi territory.

“Music and sport are able to create deep connections, to inspire beauty, to motivate us to overcome ourselves, our fears, grow and become better people – stated Luciano Messi, curator of the Teatro Reggio in Parma. With Zebre Parma we want to play the game together outside the stadiums, in Squares, in schools, in encounters with others, with cultures different from our own, to win the welcome and generosity, the constancy that guides and inspires the life of each one of us.

stated Fabrizio Gaetaniello, Chief Executive Officer of Zebre Parma. For us, this partnership represents once again the link with the city and territory of Parma. I am very pleased that Zebre will be the first United Rugby League team to wear the Opera Foundation crest on their jersey in the 2023/24 season – an important occasion for both the players and the club, to be proudly displayed during the sporting season. Many thanks to the superintendent Luciano Messi and to all the members of the Board of Directors of the Teatro Reggio Foundation for immediately believing in this project.
