University, blame towards the last yes of the medical course: there is an agreement with the Miulli and District

New steps forward for the free Mediterranean University Medicine and Surgery course in Kazamasima. The Regional Council affirmed its positive opinion of the activation of the one-cycle master’s degree course, as of 2021-2022, and approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the region itself, Lum and Miulli Hospital in Acquaviva, which will be valid until December 31, 2040.

The hospital confirmed its readiness to start the clinic’s procedures (i.e. switching to university clinics) from 17 buildings, 12 with beds – 270 in total – and five without, needed to activate the course. Now, the final approval must come from the ministry.

The first approval from the region arrived on December 21 of last year, “after assessing the specific conditions for offering training in the sector at the regional level and its interaction with health care,” the region was determined.
