NFL Playoffs Photos: Falcons make Rams sweat to secure No. 5 seed, improve Panthers' chance to win NFC South title
The Atlanta Falcons' loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Monday continued to raise the pressure in the NFC South.The division winner in the AFC North is the only place where the playoffs will be open in the NFL entering the regular season.
Here's how things will go in Week 18's final regular season:

1. Seattle Seahawks (13-3) *: Remaining schedule - San Francisco 49ers (Saturday, 8 p.m. ET)
Notable: Seattle is up to a 55 percent chance of winning the top seed after beating the Panthers on Sunday, according to The Athletic's playoff predictor.
If they beat or tie the Niners on Saturday, they'll clinch the No. 1 seed.1, NFC West and holds home-court advantage throughout the NFC playoffs.
If they lose to the Niners, that loss would drop the Seahawks to the No. 1 seed.5, and they would face either the Buccaneers or the Panthers in the wild card round.
2. Chicago Bears (11-5)*: Rest of schedule - vs. Detroit Lions (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)
Notable: The Bears are locked into the No. 2 or No. 3 seed in the NFC Playoffs.Both sites mean the bears will host the wild cards.
If it beats the Lions on Sunday, it will face the Packers in the wild-card game as the No. 2 seed.
If they lose to the Lions on Sunday and the Eagles beat/tie the Commanders, the Bears will drop to #3.
If the Lions tie and the Eagles beat the Chiefs on Sunday, the Bears will drop to third place.
3. Philadelphia Eagles (11-5)*: Remaining Schedule - Vs.Washington Commanders (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)
Noteworthy: The Eagles have a shot at the 2nd seed.They must win on Sunday and the Lions must beat/tie the Bears to advance.A win for the Bears would lock them into the 3rd spot.
4. Carolina Panthers (8-8): LH — Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET)
Notable: The Panthers can clinch the NFC South and the conference's last open playoff spot with a win or draw against the Buccaneers.If they lose, they would need the Falcons to beat the Saints to create a three-way tie.Carolina's 3-1 record against the Falcons and Bucs this season is the tiebreaker.
5. San Francisco 49ers (12-4)*: Remaining schedule - vs.Seattle Seahawks (Saturday, 8 p.m. ET)
Worth noting: If they beat the Seahawks on Saturday night, they'll become the No. 1 seed in the NFC and NFC West. If they lose, the Niners will be the fifth or sixth seed in the playoffs.
If the Niners lose against the Seahawks AND the Rams lose against the Cardinals, they would be the #5 pick.
The Niners will be the No. 6 seed if they lose against the Seahawks AND the Rams beat the Cardinals.
A tie against the Seahawks would lock the 49ers into the No. 5 spot.
6. Los Angeles Rams (11-5)*: Remaining schedule - vs. Arizona Cardinals (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)
Notable: The Rams are tied for the wild card position.To get the fifth seed and a playoff date against the NFC South champion, they need to win the regular season finale against the Cardinals AND have the Seahawks beat the 49ers on Saturday night.
7. Green Bay Packers* (9-6-1): Remaining schedule — at Minnesota Vikings (Sunday, 1 p.m. ET)
Noteworthy: They are locked in at No. 7. Their wild card opponent is either the rival Bears or Eagles.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (7-9): Remaining schedule - vs. Carolina Panthers (Saturday, 4:30 p.m. ET)
Odds to watch: Despite a four-game losing streak, the Bucks can win the NFC South with a win over the Panthers on Saturday and if the Falcons lose to the Saints in their final regular-season game. The Bucks must finish the regular season tied with the Panthers to win the NFC South. If they tie the Falcons at 8-9 in a three-way division, the Bucks will be eliminated and the Panthers will take the NFC South title.
1. Denver Broncos (13-3)*: Remaining schedule - vs.Los Angeles Chargers (Sunday, 4:25 p.m. ET)

The Patriots lost to the Dolphins and the Jaguars lost to the Titans
Notable: The Broncos ended the Chiefs' nine-year reign atop the AFC West with a loss to the Chargers on Saturday, and now have about a 61% chance to claim the top seed, per ESPN.

Noteworthy: The Steelers can claim the division crown with a win or a tie with the Ravens.A loss sends them home for the season.
5. Houston Texans (11-5): Remaining plan - against Indianapolis Colts (Sunday 1pm ET)

Note: The Texans' chances of winning the AFC South are 14%, according to The Athletic.But they will need help from the Jaguars at the end of the season.They will still be the No. 5 seed with one Jaguar and one win.The division crown would reward them with a No. 3 seed and a spot in the wild-card round.
The Texans can fall to the No. 1 seed.6 if they lose to the Colts AND the Bills OR the Chargers lose.
The Texans could drop to No. 7 if they lose to the Colts AND the Bills and Chargers win.

If Buffalo beats the Jets, the Texans lose to the Colts, and the Chargers lose to the Broncos, they could become the fifth seed.
Buffalo can be the #6 seed if they beat the Jets AND the Texans lose to the Colts OR the Chargers lose to the Broncos.
Sunday's loss dropped the Bills to the No. 7 spot and the No. 2 seed on a wild-card road trip.
Even with a win against the Jetsons, the Bills would still be ranked 7th if the Texans AND Chargers win the regular season finale.
