The latest UK charts have arrived and, as expected, Resident Evil Requiem took the number one spot after its launch on 27 February 2026.

Switch 2 sits at the bottom of the split platform and accounts for 4% of all startup sales.However, Christopher Dring of The Game Business says that sales of Requiem on Switch 2 are similar to those of last year's Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition.

Not so much from Recy, as Resident Evil Generation Pack rounds out the top 10 at #3. This version is exclusive to Switch 2 and contains Requiem along with 7: Biohazard and Village.All of the Switch 2 releases are game keycards, but that doesn't seem to have hindered Requiem's ​​early success too much.

Elsewhere, Tales of Berseria Remastered also debuted, and although it came in at number 20 on the list, Switch accounted for 38% of sales here, with PS5 taking the lion's share at 54%.
