James accomplished this feat during a spectacular away win.

LeBron James joins Kobe Bryant as second player to make 1,000 3-pointers with Lakers, hot start in win over Warriors

LeBron James made his first four 3-pointers on Saturday night in a 129-101 win over the Golden State Warriors (31-29) and, along the way, became the second player to hit 1,000 3-pointers against the Los Angeles Lakers (35-24).

James, 41, joins Kobe Bryant as the only two players in team history to accomplish the feat.

Here are the five players with the most 3-pointers for the Lakers all-time:

1) Kobe Bryant: 1,827

2) LeBron James: 1.002

3) Derek Fisher: 846

4) Nick Van Exel: 750

5) Byron Scott: 595

James' four 3-pointers in the first half against the Warriors on Saturday were the most he has recorded in a half of the season. He entered the break with a game-high 20 points and finished with 22 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds, helping the Lakers end a three-game skid.

In the second half, it was Luka Dončić's turn to score 3 seconds. Dončić', who turned 27 on Saturday, hit three times early in the third quarter. He finished his day with 26 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds.Austin Reaves had 18 points.

The Warriors dug themselves a double-digit hole in the first quarter.Without Kristaps Porziņģis, who is still out due to an "illness", and Stephen Curry, who continues to suffer from a right knee injury, Golden State could not keep up with the Lakers, who made 19 of 41 three-pointers as a team.

Curry missed his 10th straight game.

"I feel good. It's amazing," he told ESPN's Malika Andrews in a midgame interview on Saturday."There's no telling how he'll recover, but every day since All-Star week he's gotten better. That's all I can ask for, and I hope to be back [out there] soon."

When Andrews asked Curry about re-evaluating on Sunday, he admitted it would be "a little while longer" for him to return.

"I haven't been to court yet," he said."But I'm just trying to stay in good shape, trying to strengthen everything around my body, knowing that this time, when you come back, it's kind of a full sprint in the playoffs. So when I go back to the court, it's going to hurt a little bit, but it's something you don't want to increase because it could be worse."

As for James, he has remained healthy since missing the first 14 games of the season with sciatica.

He is in his eighth season with the Lakers, having joined for the first time in 2018. But his contract will expire at the end of the 2025-2026 campaign, a league-record 23rd season.

James has made 2,618 career 3s, including 1,251 with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
