Nick Sirianni and Howie Roseman were asked the same question: Will A.J.Brown back with Eagles in 2026?

They both said no, but neither said yes.

If anything, the current situation seems more chaotic than before.

Both Siriani and Roseman met with the media at the Jefferson Health Education Center ahead of the combine in Indianapolis, and both spoke enthusiastically about Brown, but neither was certain about Brown's future with the Eagles.

While Roseman wouldn't rule out a trade offer for the six-time 1,000-yard receiver, he said he wouldn't turn down any offers.

“I don't think you can go into any conversation with someone and talk about something without hearing what they have to say because you never know,” Roseman said."If someone gives you something you weren't expecting and you don't talk to them, I don't think you're doing your job or really serving the team you're with. You never know what someone is willing to do."

"Obviously, we've been in situations where we didn't think we had an advantage in the trade (for that) and that's pretty good, compare that to what you can get out there.

It was a reasonable response, but "We're not trading A.J."he could really say that.

As for Sirianni, he also said he hopes Brown will be here in 2026, but you never really know what the future holds.

"My expectation is that he wants to be here. And of course you always want to have such good players in your building," he said.

"Is AJ going to be there next season? I mean, I think we're still at a point where I can't be sure what's going to happen next season. I can't guarantee that. I mean, I thought I was going to be the head coach next season, but it's like you can't be sure of anything going forward."

Sirianni was asked if he wished Brown had done things differently last year, when it was clear he let his frustrations get to him on the field, leading to a disastrous performance against the 49ers that lost the wild card.

But he wouldn't go there.

"You know me," he said."I'm not going to say, 'Hey, this is what I think this player should have done.' Just know that I'm always talking to our people, whether it's something on or off the field you go and we're always in constant conversation about it and because I think that's where you get into trouble is when the job description is not clear. What is on and off the field of health.

"But I never say, 'Hey, that's what I think should have happened' or that, because I usually keep those things in the house and keep those things in the house.

“Like Howie said, it's hard to get good players in this league.A.c.A great player, AJ.Good team, A.

Trading Brown would leave the Eagles without another proven wide receiver besides DeVonta Smith and also give Roseman a heavy cap hit.

But it could also return assets the Eagles could use to sign or sign a replacement.

Brown is one of only 11 players in NFL history with six 1,000-yard seasons in his first seven years in the league.Along with Jerry Rice, Randy Moss, Calvin Johnson, Torey Holt and Mike Evans, he is one of only six players with 8,000 receiving yards, 50 touchdowns and 15 yards per catch in seven years.

"I'll go back to what I said at the end of the season," Roseman said."It's really hard to find great players. I think AJ is a great player. We're looking to improve in every aspect. You can't write that off."
