Arman Tsarukyan continues his side quest by introducing a UFC veteran - a very young UFC veteran, to be exact.
In the main event of Hype FC, a martial arts event that features bare-knuckle strikes and assisted strikes only, Tsarukyan took on former UFC flyweight Muhammad Mokayev.next to.
Mokaev, while far less competitive than UFC lightweight No. 1 contender Tsarukian, defended well early on.

Tsarukyan was awarded the Hype FC championship belt.In his post-fight interview, he said his main goal is to become a UFC champion, but if he doesn't get a call soon, he'll continue his quest to stay active.He also took the opportunity to call out newly crowned BMF champion Charles Oliveira as division champ Ilia Topuria and longtime champion Justin Gaethje clash at UFC Freedom 250 at the White House.
Tsarukyan's last UFC bout was in November at UFC Fight Night 265, where he took on Dan Hooker in the second round.Since then, he's been wrestling and wrestling while awaiting his next call-up from the UFC, but it could be some time since the promotion's CEO, Dana White, admitted that he's not exactly a No. 1 contender right now due to his past antics.
