The 2026 NFL season has begun, and free agency is coming up fast.It's past 4 in the afternoon.At the start of the new league year, the Miami Dolphins traded Minkah Fitzpatrick to the New York Jets.They then followed up by announcing the release of linebacker Bradley Chubb, a move that was announced last week but made official, with a name after June 1, Wednesday.

Immediately following Chubb's announcement, the Dolphins announced that they had re-signed cornerback A.J.Green III.Green joined the Dolphins in 2025.midseason when the team signed him off the Los Angeles Rams' practice squad.During his five-year career, Green played for the Cleveland Browns and Minnesota Vikings, along with the Rams and Dolphins.He played in 39 games, recording 41 tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defensed and two fumble recoveries.He did not appear in 2024.

As the Dolphins announced the signing of the Leafs, more Chubb rumors have surfaced.According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the former Dolphins edge rusher will join their AFC East rival, the Buffalo Bills.million dollars.
