easyJet announces a new route from Birmingham to Lisbon – Italiavola & Travel

EasyJet, the UK’s largest airline, has announced a new route from Birmingham to Lisbon in Portugal that will take off this winter. The new route follows the new services from the airport to Nantes, Faro, Malaga and Palma de Mallorca, which first took off in early summer.

Flights to Lisbon will depart from Birmingham from 2 November 2022 departing twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, providing a convenient direct connection for Midland customers to enjoy a city break in Portugal’s cosmopolitan capital this winter.

The new route becomes EasyJet’s 10th route from Birmingham.

In recent months, easyJet’s Birmingham operations have experienced sustained growth, and the company now serves customers in Birmingham and the surrounding area through ten airports in the UK and Europe, connecting to city, ski and beach destinations across Belfast. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Amsterdam, Geneva, Palma, Malaga, Faro, Nantes – and now Lisbon.

This winter the airline will be the number one carrier between the UK and Portugal, offering more seats than any other airline and more options for customers when it comes to choosing a winter holiday.
