David Di Donatello travels the world

The 67th edition of the “David di Donatello” Awards will kick off around the world with Rai Italia. Carlo Conte surrounded by Drusilla Foer, for the live broadcast on Tuesday 3 May (Rai 1 of 21.25) will also reach the homes of millions of Italians abroad who will be able to attend the event that will also be presented by broadcast on RaiPlay in Italy.
Indeed, at 8.15 pm on May 3, images from Cinecittà studios in the New York and Toronto areas will be shown, at 5.15 pm in Los Angeles and at 9.15 pm in Argentina, Brazil and South Africa. On May 4th, David Di Donatello will conclude the Five Continents Tour in China at 5 pm and in Australia at 7 pm.
Twenty-five David Di Donatello, Lifetime Achievement David and two Special David will be awarded during the award ceremony. David for Lifetime Achievement 2022 will go to Giovanna Ralli, the absolute star of Italian cinema with more than seventy years of extraordinary interpretations. Two David Specials were awarded during this release: Sabrina Ferilli, one of the most famous and popular actresses in Italy, and Antonio Capuano, one of the most original voices on the big screen in Italy. Me Against You The Film – The Mystery of the Enchanted School directed by Gianluca Liuzzi is the winning film for David Delo Spectator, while Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast is the best international film. David di Donatello’s Best Short Film will go to the Maestrale, directed by Nico Bonomolo. More than twenty years later, David di Donatello’s family will be celebrated at the iconic Cinecittà studios. Nominees, directors, actors, producers and great professionals, who make Italian films world champions, will cross roads, theaters and the famous ensemble of ancient Rome, which hosted and host great masterpieces of the history of world cinema and Cinecitta: a 150-meter long red carpet at the beating heart of film production to celebrate Italy’s extraordinary talent .
