Mike McDaniel's Dolphins fall
Mike McDaniel and the Dolphins hit a new low Sunday when they were defeated by the Browns 31-6 in Cleveland.Miami is now 1-6 on the year and has lost three straight games.
The latest loss could be the last for many McDaniel around the league to think it was just a matter of time before the 42-year-old was sacked.To make matters worse for the dolphins, the Browns came into the game Sunday 1-5 and they had no problem covering the dolphins.
Taa Tagoaboora had another terrific game for Miami. He threw 100 yards with no touchdowns and three interceptions before leaving for the Cubs.
A frustrated McDaniel had the saddest line after the game, saying of his team:
"They wanted to get the f------ they won. They did. And they didn't, and it's all us," McDaniel said."I don't think it's because of anyone's responsibility. I think we all need to look in the mirror."
McDaniel made his future with his team clear:
"I find it very insulting to all parties when I think about having a job. As long as I'm coaching for the Miami Dolphins and this organization, they get everything from me."
And he had this to say about his QB struggles:
"You turn the ball over, it's a big sign of winners and it's a loss and it affects the team badly... It's not enough
Next up for the Dolphins is a Week 8 road game against the Falcons.It will be interesting to see if Mildaniel is still up for it.If so, all the pressure will be on his shoulders.
