NCAA Volleyball Final Four between Texas A&M and Wisconsin to advance

Pitt, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Wisconsin have advanced to the NCAA Women's Volleyball Final Four in Kansas City, which begins Thursday with the semifinal round.

No. 1 seeds Pitt and Kentucky and No. 3 Texas A&M and Wisconsin advanced to the NCAA Women's Volleyball Final Four to be held at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

Pitt will face Texas A&M in the national semi-finals after beating Nebraska in five sets on Sunday afternoon. Kentucky will face Wisconsin in a surprise state on Sunday night.

Texas A&M (27-4) outshot Nebraska 30-16.Kyndal Stowers had 25 kills and 16 kills, Logan Lednicky had 24 kills and Emily Hellmuth had 13 kills. Ifenna Cos-okpalla had three solo blocks and five digs.

Nebraska suffered the tournament's No. 1 overall seed and first loss of the season.

The Badgers avenge their previous loss to the Longhorns, who beat them on Aug. 31, and advance to the Final Four for the third time since 2020. Wisconsin (24-4) is the No. 3 seed, the No.10 in the nation and last place to qualify for the semi-finals.

The Final Four semifinals will take place on Thursday, December 18 and will be televised on ESPN.The national championship game will be Sunday, December 21st on ABC.

The Badgers are in the Final Four for the third time since 2020. Wisconsin (24-4) is the No. 3 seed and the lowest-ranked team to reach the semifinals at No. 10 in the country.

One-seed Texas State is ranked No. 3 in the nation and its season is winding down.

Kerry Spears now leads Texas with nine kills.The Longhorns use a balanced offense and hit .400 in the third set to claw their way back into the match.

Torey Stafford and Kerry Spears each recorded eight kills as the Longhorns fought back.Texas hit .429 in the third.

Finale 2: Wisconsin 25, Texas 21

The Badgers' hitting percentage was .315 compared to the Longhorns' .246. Mimi Colyer had his 10th kill to close out the series. Charlie Fuerbringer had 32 assists to lead Wisconsin's offense.

September 2: Wisconsin top 15

Wisconsin enjoys a balanced offensive attack.Mimi Colyer has nine kills, Carter Booth seven, and Grace Egan and Una Vajagic each have six.

Torrey Stafford had six kills, three blocks and two digs to lead Texas.

The Badgers went on a 7-0 run before the Longhorns battled back with a 5-0 run.It wasn't enough as Wisconsin won led by six kills from Mimi Colyer.
