Ravik became a new professional dancer in the season 34 program
Max Chmerkovskiy Says Taylor Swift's Backup Dancer Jon Ravnick Has "Zero Technique" and "No Business" Being a DWTS Professional
A former professional dancer on Dancing with the Stars questioned the credentials of the newest dancer from season 34, Jan Ravnik.
His current gig is working with Secret Lives of Mormon Wise Jen Absck, where he is a backup dancer for Taylor Swift on the DWTS PROMENT LAND Jen Absck, Eras Tour.
However, according to Max Chmerkovskiy – who was a professional on the show for 17 seasons – dancing for pop megastars is not the same as proper ballroom training.
During a recent appearance on his wife Peta Murgatroyd's podcast The Penthouse with Peta, the couple discussed their performance from last week's episode of the ABC dance competition show Wicked, as they discussed Ravnik and Affleck's foxtrot to Chmerkovskiy's "As Long as You're Mine."I questioned why this professional dancer was performing.
"He had no idea what a foxtrot would look like," he said."How do you expect him to teach that and deliver that message in a format that's completely different from even ballroom dancing? We had that critique a few weeks ago, and I'm like, 'Bro, is somebody going to explain that to him?'
“There is no understanding of infrastructure, technical, quality, partnership,” he said.
"Brother, I'm emotional. It's wrong if we have to believe that God doesn't allow us to say that we are against him."
The Independent has contacted Ravnik's representatives for comment.
In addition to the car tour, the raveveock appeared in Swift's Squift movie, the movie is leaving, and was seen in his Las Vegaso Mars and Pala ADOD.
Although Chymerkowski was clearly described as having "zero" against the dancer as an individual, he considered the draft a "rare opportunity" to bring in an experienced dancer.
Then the woman agreed and said, "They hired a dancer. He is a simple dancer. This is the reason why he hired."
"Besides, it's a lovely guy. It looks really good. It's obviously a great dancer. It's worth hiring a non -hall dancer to learn a hall dancing for a famous person as a job."
