CBS has picked up comedy series "Forever Yours" for the 2026-2027 broadcast season.

CBS has made decisions on two of its comedy pilots this year, with the network picking up the one-camera "Eternally Yours" to series for the 2026-2027 broadcast season."The Tillbrooks" (hereafter "Regency") did not advance.

The news comes less than a week before CBS announces its 2026-2027 fall schedule, which is set for April 15 with the pick-up of the series "Eternally Yours" with no other pending series decisions on CBS' slate.The I network renewed most of its prime-time shows weeks ago, though new comedy "DMV" and drama "Watson" were recently canceled.Additionally, the long-running comedy "The Neighborhood" is currently in its final season.

“Eternally Yours” comes from writers and executive producers Joe Port and Joe Weissman, who developed the US version of “Ghosts” for CBS.This ensemble comedy about a couple who inherit a mansion filled with ghosts from different periods of history has proven to be a hit on CBS and is currently in its fifth season.It was actually renewed for a sixth season last year.Don't be surprised if CBS combines the two shows in the fall, given their shared superhero comedy connection and behind-the-scenes talent.

Forever Yours' synopsis reads: “It centers on Charles (Ed Weeks) and Lizzie (Allegra Edwards), a vampire couple whose once passionate love has lasted 500 years.Years later it became a fruitless marriage.They are surrounded by a wonderful convention in present-day Seattle, until they find their daughter (Helen Jane Shen). Their love can last forever...or eternal punishment.

Along with Port and Wiseman, Eric Tanenbaum, Kim Tanenbaum and Jason Wang are executive producers.The pilot was executive produced by Trent O'Donnell, who also directed.CBS Studios will produce.

"The Tillbrooks" has been described as "the story of the classic multi-camera family sitcom centered around the upper-middle-class Tillbrooks as they navigate life, love and scandal in 19th-century England."Rhys Darby starred as the family patriarch, Arthur Tillbrook, while the cast also included Mia Challis, Hayley Griffith and Shiv Pai.Tara Hernandez was the writer and executive producer. Warner Bros. Television was the studio.
