Three Philadelphia restaurants, dinner venues, clubs, and Friday and Saturday nights, all won a Michelin star on Tuesday night.
Tuesday is a big night for Philadelphia foodies as the prestigious Michelin Guide includes the City of Brotherly Love in its Northeast Food Guide.

On Tuesday, November 18, the guide announced which restaurants in our area earned a coveted Michelin star:
- French Restaurant at Supper Club sing ana ing Street Sansom
- New American Restaurant on South 21st Street Friday Saturday Sunday
- The French restaurant is located on South Street
Uche Restaurant follows the historic Michelin system, which is based on five criteria:
- Quality products
- Combination of flavors
- Expertise in cooking techniques
- the voice and personality of the interviewer in the restaurant
- consistency between each visit and the entire menu
Meanwhile, the vegetarian restaurant Pietramala, on the third road north, has a Michelin Green Star for its sustainability efforts.

Cities have to pay to get the guides, but Visit Philadelphia won't talk about the money, telling NBC10 it's a "partnership."
However, people in the restaurant industry told NBC10 the money is well spent.
"It could bring more interest to Fili, which would encourage more people to eat there, which would help with the talent, more people wanting to come to Fili and cook," Food Society Study Andrew Campysi said.
The group was hung in France in France in the 20th century, which helped support the movement.
