Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is vice-president of the in-government Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and also holds the position of Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs. He said that the issue is religion-based and is very sensitive to the Hindus and it also does neither profit nor loss to anyone.

“Those who are dying without eating beef, can go to Pakistan or Arab countries or any other part of world where it is available,” he said.

He gave such statement in response to a question that says, ‘if the government would continue imposing ban across the India especially in Goa, Kerala and Jammu and Kashmir where there are large number of people who eat such meat.’

When Mr. Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that those who are dying to eat the beef can go to the countries like Pakistan, Asaduddin Owaisi immediately made another question asking whether he is asking Goa Chief Minister Laxmikant Parsekar to leave the country and wander about Pakistan. He also asked about the lower rate of development among the Muslims in India in which his response was that the Modi Sarkaar had been working for making Muslims advanced in every field of life.

Last month, a beef party in protest against the proposed ban was organized in Meghalaya where BJP president Amit Shah was also welcomed. After the protest, BJP leader Ram Madhav said that there was no proposal to ban beef in the North East of India because of its demographic structure.
