The politician also called SRK as ‘anti-nationalist’.

“Shah Rukh lives in India, but his soul is in Pakistan. His films make crores here but he still thinks India to be intolerant,” said the BJP leader, raising concerns over the ‘climate of intolerance’ in India.

“If this is not anti-nationalist, then what is it. India is making a bid to become a permanent member of the United Nations and all the anti-Indian forces including Pakistan are creating conspiracy,” expressed the leader.

“Shah Rukh’s comment about intolerance points that he is matching the tunes with Pakistan and anti-India forces,” added Kailash.

Further, the BJP leader said: “Today when the entire world is respecting India, talking about increase in intolerance makes the country weak in front of the world.”

Meanwhile, Sadhvi Prachi, a leader of Firebrand Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), called SRK ‘a Pakistani agent’, reacting over his same remarks about India.

“By talking about returning the awards, he has committed treason. He should be punished for this. Not only Shah Rukh Khan, but all those who never returned their awards should be tried for treason,” said Sadhvi Prachi.

Moreover, Hindu Extremist group has also responded to SRK’s remarks saying he is speaking the language of Hafiz Saeed.

Earlier, Shah Rukh Khan came under severe verbal attack in India after his saying on his 50th birthday that there is extreme intolerance in India.
