NEW DELHI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi thanked Pakistan for its serious efforts that ensured the return of Geeta to Indian. The Prime Minister has announced Rs. 1 crore donation for Edhi Foundation for what Edhi Foundation has done.

Geeta who returned to India yesterday after almost a decade and half was warmly welcomed by the Indian Prime Minister. “It is truly wonderful to have you back home. Was truly a delight to spend time with you today,” Modi tweeted later.

Narendra Modi also invited the Bilquis Bano Edhi to visit her birth place in Bantwa in Junagadh along with her family.
