Pakistani woman on Interpol’s Most Wanted list over fraud and forgery


WEB DESK: Interpol has put name of Pakistani woman in his most wanted list over alleged fraud and forgery.


Working in capacity of Anaesthetist in an NHS hospital, Saman Syed, 50, as per reports, submitted fake degree from a hospital situated in Lahore to get work permit and passport of UK.

“Authorities in Pakistan are investigating into whether she faked her qualifications from a hospital in Lahore and forged paperwork. They want her extradited,” a source told The Sun.

She has been working in the United Kindom since 2010 and lives in area of London, IIford.

According to paper, the administration has been not aware of the fact that her name has been put by Interpol in most wanted persons list.

Syed Saman told the paper that she did not know of her inclusion on the Interpol list.

She said: “I think this has all been framed by my ex-husband back in Pakistan. I have been informed he has been trying to get hold of my documents and trying to manipulate them.”
