Oslo Imam wounded in axe attack


Oslo imam survived in axe attack the imam of Oslo’s central mosque survived after a masked goon attacked him with a small axe on Monday. On his return to home from the Central Jamaat Ahle Sunnat mosque late on Monday, Nehma Ali Shah was attacked by a masked man with a small axe, the Aftenposten daily reported.
The religious scholar suffering wounds to his face and hands, was brought in a critical condition, operated in the hospital and in a stable condition now, police said. Police had secured CCTV footage from the area and questioned to number of eyewitnesses. It will be too early to identify the possible motive of the stabbing as their units are hunting for the attacker.
