Muslims celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi with religious solemnity

Eid Milad-un-Nabi which marks the birth anniversary of the last  prophet of Islam Hazrat Muhammad (SAW) is being celebrated on 12th of Rabiul Awal. As today, its 12th Rabiul Awal and Muslims around the globe are commemorating and are spreading the message of Muhammad (SAW), which is undoubtedly the message of Islam.

The day is celebrated with religious reverence and solemnity and is one of the most important day of a Muslim’s life as they pray for the strengthening of Islam and publicize the teachings taught by Hazrat Muhammad (SAW).

On this day, people perform special Salat and Darood to commemorate the birth anniversary of the messenger of Allah on whom the great Quran was revealed.

The other known ways of celebrating the day are processions, rallies, Naat-Khawani events which Muslims take part in with their full zeal. The young children are also excited on the day as the homes are decorated with lighting and other flags.

And the Niaz (food) is also widely distributed among relatives, family friends and poor.
