Hurriyat rejects Pakistan High Commission’s invitation for Eid Milan: reports

NEW DELHI: Hurriyat leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani has refused the invitation of Pakistan High Commission in India for Eid Millan Party.

Pakistan High Commission in India had invited Kashmiri leaders on Eid Milan party scheduled to be on July 21.

According to ZeeNews, Syed Ali Geelani rejected the Pakistan High Commission’s invitation saying that, “In the meeting of Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Indian premier Modi held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Ufa, Russia on July 10, Kashmir issue was totally ignored.”

He added, Hurriyat will register its protest by not attending the Eid Milan Party for ignoring Kashmir issue during the meeting of two premiers.
