Fearless Five Team of Pak-Army has rescued English mountaineer

Pak-Army’s ‘Fearless Five Team’ has rescued the world record holder British-American mountain climber who had been stuck by snow-storm.

Vanessa Audi Rhys O’Brian was on her way to conquer the summit of K2, the second highest mountain in the world, when she entrapped in storm and called for help.

“Fearless Five Team is wonderful and it’s wonderful meeting with the members of this team,” O’Brian commended Pak-Army.

“Conquering the K2 is getting more difficult due to the variation in weather,” she added.

She also applauded the CMH doctors who are always ready to treat those who get injured while mountain climbing.

Vanessa O’Brian has climbed the highest mountain peak on each continent and has also skied the last degree (60 nautical miles or 111 km) to the South Pole in the Antarctic. As of March 2013, she became the fastest woman to climb the Seven Summits, in 10 months, one of only 54 to do so. For this accomplishment she was listed in the 2015 Guinness Book of World Records.
