Channel 4 today airing the documentary on Gay Muslims today at 10pm. The Documentary features Muslim drag queens, narrated by Sir Ian Mckellen.

The documentary featured UK first out Muslim drag queen Asifa Lahore who hails from Pakistan. Trailer of the doucmnetry reveals she regularly got for prayers  and fasts also, but at the same time is gay rights activists. She has to face so many threats to raise voice for gay rights with in family and from Muslim  community.

Who is  Asifa Lahore:

According to official website of Asifa Lahore, she is singer, songwriter, DJ, hostess and media personality. She is a former brozne medalist of the Drag Idol UK. She hosts and DJs at two of London’s LGBT World Music nights. Asifa is a global pioneering voice within the ‘Gayasian’ community.

She came to prominence after discussing Islam and Homosexualit on BBC3’s Free Speech.
