Hindu extremist group Shiv Sena’s Punjab unit has made an announcement on Wednesday saying 100,000 INR would be awarded to anyone who slaps Aamir Khan.
Barely a day after Aamir updated his facebook status with his clarification and explanation upon what he had said couple of days ago about India during an interview, the Hindu right-wing party has taken another stride towards extremism.
“Any person who will slap Aamir Khan will get INR 0.1 million for each slap form the Shiv Sena,” Rajeev Tandon, Shiv Sena Punjab chairman, announced.
He made the announcement during a protest led by the party outside MBD Radisson Blu hotel in Ludhiana where Aamir is staying during the ongoing shooting of his upcoming film Dangal.
“We give an opportunity to the manager and employees of the hotel and also the team of his film to slap Aamir and get INR0.1 million from us. The courageous and patriotic persons who will slap Aamir Khan in Ludhiana will get INR 0.1 million reward per slap from us,” Tandon said.
The mob also blocked traffic in front of the hotel and raised slogans against the mega star and also set ablaze his photograms, in act of denouncing him.
Earlier, Mr Perfect has been criticized by many from his country over what he said that increasing intolerance in the country are alarming; and that his wife suggested to leave India.
