Tinder is celebrating the return of live dating with a ‘festival mode’. Partnership with the world’s largest music festivals in 10 countries

tinder Partnership with Live Nation, the world leader in live entertainment, and with live event organizers AEG and Superstruct Entertainment offer to deliver Festival Modea feature designed to help Tinder members make new acquaintances as they prepare for their first real big festival season in years.

Festival mode combines a moment of online dating with meeting in person, allowing Tinder members to find adventure companions for festivals before the event. With nearly 1 in 3 people (31%) planning to attend a music festival or concert this year, Festival Mode helps music fans break the ice and make connections through shared interests. Highly anticipated news on Tinder, 64% of singles enjoy meeting new people at live music events, and more than 3 in 5 (61%) say they’ve found friends, or more, with people they met at a music festival or concert.

How does festival mode work

• It’s available on Tinder Explore, as one of the many ways members can meet new people and socialize based on shared interests and experiences.
• Members can choose the most anticipated music festivals in the year they intend to attend and a month before the event they will be able to match with people who will attend the same festival.
• It will include more than 20 of the biggest festivals from around the world, such as All Points East, Lollapalooza and Sónar.
• It will also have a “Festival Lovers” space, for anyone who doesn’t find their festival on the menu or for those who are just fans of festival culture.
