Written by Tina Fey, the film continues as a classic of the genre with unforgettable lines such as “Going into a Lose, We’re Going to Shop,” “I’m a Mouse, Doh” and “That’s Cool.” The movie was converted into a musical in 2017 with the same name.
It was reported earlier this year that the musical is now seeing a film reshuffle in Paramount. Fey, who wrote the original film as well as the music book, and Lorne Michaels, who also produced it, are on board for the new project, with Fey writing the script once again, with Richmond music and lyrics by Neil Benjamin.
Lacey Chabert, who played Gretchen Carlson, encouraged fans to vote using what was identifiable I mean girls slang. “Vote on November 3rd. “That would be very cool,” said Chabert.
