Shahid Afridi will retire from ODI Cricket after 2015 World Cup

The famous all-rounder has taken part in three world cups besides being the captain of the 2011 world cup team of Pakistan.

The upcoming world cup in Australia and New Zealand in 2015 is significant for a couple of senior players of the current team and that he will be retired after the World Cup, however, continues playing Twenty20, says Afridi.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has arranged a fitness camp in Lahore for the duration of one month before announcing the central contracts. Moreover, Shahid admits that this camp is very tough regarding fitness exercises.

The capricious cricketer who is best known for his hard-hitting all over the world also admires Mohammad Akram’s efforts in staging a rigid summer camp in Gaddhafi stadium in Lahore.

Afridi also views about the performance-based selection of the players and says that the player who shows consistent performance throughout the season should be considered in the A+ category.
