Revival of International cricket, Zimbabwe to visit Pakistan


LAHORE: Zimbabwe has announced to send its cricket team to Pakistan and with this announcement international cricket in Pakistan would revive after a very long time.


Chairman PCB, Sheharyar Khan has said in a press conference that Zimbabwe has announced its schedule to visit Pakistan and to play cricket international cricket over here.


As per schedule, Zimbabwe team will arrive between May 19 & 20 midnight. The team will play 3 one-day international matches along with 2 T20 international matches. The team will return home on June 1 after finishing the tour.

It is to be remembered here that there had been no international cricket in Pakistan after the attack on Sri Lankan cricket team on March 3, 2009. So, it is a good news for cricket fans in Pakistan that international cricket is resuming here after a span of six years.
