Pakistan’s MMA champ Ahmed ‘Wolverine’ Mujtaba clears the dirt about representing any other country

Ahmad Mujtaba, the young rising star of Pakistan’s Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) has extended his winning spree to 8-0. He has just returned victorious from ‘ONE Championship’, which is the Asia’s largest mixed martial arts (MMA) platform for professionals.

He retained his MMA championship with knocking down Singaporean fighter Benedict Ang in the ring. Wolverine is the only third Pakistani to ever fought in ONE Championship after Bashir Ahmad and Waqar Omer.

After not getting the media attention support from the government, he said that he will be seeing for next one week if he won’t be acknowledged, he’ll be considering any other options.

Now at an official event of MMA Pakistan at 3GMMA for a workshop told, “When you don’t get the recognition you deserve it’s only natural to seek alternatives, but that’s not me. I wish to represent Pakistan in every battle I fight,” said Mujtaba.

“There are many hurdles for me as many people say MMA has no future but I keep a positive mindset and work to change the image of Pakistan through MMA,” he said while addressing the attendees of the  event.
