LAHORE: The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Board of Control for Cricket (BCCI) have asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) the option of playing against India in the World T20 at Kolkata instead Dharamsala, which was ruled by Pakistani security team raised concern.
According to reports, Interior Ministry has not clear Pakistan team yet.
Three-member security team headed by Director FIA Usman Anwar went to India to check the security arrangement on the venues where Pakistan will be playing matches.
“The PCB has been offered Kolkata as the venue for World T20 venue encounter between Pakistan and India”, PCB official told Express Tribune.

Shahid Afridi (c), Ahmad Shahazad, Mohammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Mohammad Irfan, Mohammad Sami, Wahab Riaz, Mohammad Nawaz, Khalid Latif Mohammad Amir, Umar Akmal, Sarfraz Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Anwar Ali.
Ten team will compete to claim World T20 trophy, Pakistan is group b, other teams of the group are India, New Zealand, Australia and (TBA).
