Pak-Zimbabwe Series: Income was over than expenditures, says Sheharyar


KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board, Sheharyar Khan has told that PCB earned more income as compared to expenses in the series against Zimbabwe.


Talking to media about the question regarding the heavy expenses by the board, Sheharyar Khan told media men that we have also earned a lot of income through this series. This series not only opened new tracks for international cricket in Pakistan but also gave benefit to the national unity of the country.


He also appreciated the role of media and public in this regard and said that spectators showed a pure sportsman spirit during the whole series.

“People have shown the series with full passions and spirit despite f hot weather that is commendable”, he added. Khan said that foreign guests also appreciated the environment over here and ICC Chief David Richardson has also sent his message of congratulation.

He also informed that ICC had formed a task force in 2012 regarding Pakistan and the committee had submitted its report to ICC Chief for the revival of cricket in Pakistan but all in vain.
