Pak-Ban series: Khursheed Shah demands change in PCB, Imran backs it

ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader, Khursheed Shah has opened his lips after the historic series defeat of Pakistan team by Bangladesh and demanded a change in the setup of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for the betterment of cricket in Pakistan. In demand of Shah, Imran Khan has also backed this and said that cricket would destroy if people are not selected on merit.

Imran Khan said that the chairman of PCB should be one who does have a knowhow of cricket. Citing the example of India, Khan said that India has rectified its cricket system and now it is far ahead of Pakistan.

“The series defeat from Bangladesh is not bearable for any one of us”, said Khan, adding, “Pakistan has now come equal to Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in cricket ranking”.

It is to be remembered here that Pakistan had to face worst historic defeat in the hands of Bengal Tigers and the entire nation is annoyed with the recent performance of Pakistan team as well as the selectors of PCB. Keeping in view the current situation of national cricket team, Khursheed has put up a demand for the change in PCB set up and Khan also didn’t remain behind and immediately backed the demand by Shah.
