London: The two time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal came to a vibrant stop in the fourth round on Tuesday when he was dramatically beaten by 19-year-old Australian wildcard Nick Kyrgios 7-6(5)5-7 7-6(5) 6-3.
Kygrios, who was currently at 144th rank in the world, fired down 37 aces and played daring brand of tennis to beat the world number one following two hours and 58 minutes of exciting action.
The young star has made a history with this win over Nadal as it was the first time since 1992 that a player ranked outside the top 100 had beaten a world number one.
The emerging 19 year star, who formerly being world junior No. 1, participating at his first Wimbledon, will next compete with Canadian eight seed Milos Raonic to grab a place in the semi-finals.
