SHARJAH: Karachi Kings claimed the match against Lahore Qalandars by 27 runs on Friday.

The start was good by Lahore Qalandars, Chris Gayle who was warming the benches due to light injury was back, Carribean thunderbolt with Cameron Delport made the solid foundation, Lahore Qalandars were on 98 in 10.5, when waves started turning against them, in the span of 5 balls, they lost first Cameron Delport who has made 55 by playing 39 balls, Chris Gayle and Bravo got out in the same over. Mohammad Rizwan and Umar Akmal tried to steady the chase but the have lost wickets on regular interval.
It was Ravi Bopara’s match, scored 71 with bat and then when Lahore Qalandars were on the top, claimed important wickets.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars asked Karachi Kings to bat first, it was slight change in the team and batting order of Karachi Kings, Nauman Anwar and Shoaib Malik started the innings, Anwar got out after scoring handy 35 on 25 balls. Shoaib contributed 27, Bangladeshi players Shakib Al Hasan got out early as well left handed batsman Imam Wasim. It was again the day of Ravi Bopara, he started the innings from where he left the last day , scorded 71 runs with four the help of four towering sixes and 3 fours. Mushafiquar Rahim who was playing his first match of PSL, came to bat late got 10 runs. All in all Karachi Kings set fighting target.
