MIRPUR: Pakistan beat Bangladesh in second and decisive test match by 329 runs. Eagles restricted Bangladesh to 221 in the fourth-day of the test match. Azhar Ali decalred, Azhar Ali, Man of the Match and Man of the series.
Pakistan beats Bangladesh in the second test match played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. Earlier, Pakistan declared first innings at the massive total of 557 and in response to target, restricted the Bengal players to 203. Second innings of the test start with the lead of 354 by Pakistan. Pakistan declared the second inning on 195 and set the target of 549 for Bangladesh.
Pakistani players shows outstanding performance in the second and last test match. Azhar Ali scored 226, 148 by Younis Khan and 107 by Asad Shafiq in first inning. Misbah-ul-Haq was the prominent scorer in second inning, scored 82.
Bangladeshi players failed in second test match to manage victory for the team. Tamim Iqbal who made a double-century in the first Test, was caught behind by wicket-keeper Sarfraz Ahmed for 42. Mahmudullah also failed to help his team in time of trouble.
Pakistan ended the Bangladesh one month-long tour on a winning note after being routed 3-0 in the ODI, and losing for the first time in a T20 from Bangladesh.
