Pakistan being left low-morale after 2nd Test defeat, recoiled back in the 3rd Test with making some bold decisions, their choice of fielding first even after winning the toss was severely criticized by cricketing experts, but Misbah along with his men stood firm and proved the decision right as England were just bowled out on 297 till the stumps Day 1.
The other bold decision which worked Pakistan’s way was inclusion of Sohail Khan in the side, the 2-Test Match bowler was preferred over pace gun Wahab Riaz, who played both the opening Test matches of the series.
Though Yasir Shah not clicking in the game still might be a big concern for Pakistani team.
Sohail Khan turned out to be the top bowler from Pakistan team in this match, as he grabbed 5-wickets by giving 6 runs.
Both the England batting giants, Alastair Cook and Joe Root could’t have much impact over the batting as they were silenced just early on.
Cook was dismissed by Rahat Ali when he was on individual score of 45, whereas Root became victim of Sohail Khan on individual score of 3.
Lower order left-handed batsmen of England, Ballance and Moeen Ali added some much needed runs for the side and lead their side to a total nearing 300 mark.

Great step to add a right hand fast bowler to the team…too many left handed bowlers last game. #PakvsEng
