LAHORE: Pakistani pacer Wahab Riaz, who left the cricketing world at marvel with his awe-inspiring bowling-spell during the Cricket World Cup Quarter-final against Australia in Adelaide, has invited cricket legend Brian Lara to Pakistan.

Riaz’s move is a response to the statement made by Lara in which he advocated the fast bowler’s stance and expressed his wish to meet the pacer. Lara considered ICC’s verdict to fine him ‘uncalled for’ and offered to pay for it himself.
On Tuesday, Riaz took to social networking site Twitter and said he was ‘honoured’ that Brian Lara is eager to meet him.
Moreover, Riaz extended an invitation to legendary batsman and said he would love to be his host.
Meanwhile, Brain Lara expressed his disagreement at ICC’s stance taken against Riaz’s fiery spell against Watson. Lara said he would pay the price for Riaz who is fined over his stunning exchanging attitude during his bowling in quarter-final.
