Unfit Sohaib Maqsood ruled out of Bangladesh tour


LAHORE: Middle-order batsman Sohaib Maqsood has been ruled out of the Bangladesh tour due to fracture in his left arm, a statement issued by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).



Maqsood was selected in the ODI and T20 squads for the Bangladesh tour which will start from April 17.


Middle-order batsman was ruled out the series after a medical examination pointed the fracture. During the first day of training camp at the Gaddafi Stadium, Maqsood had complained of acute pain.


Saad Nasim was made a part of the ODI squad as replacement of Sohaib Maqsood. Newly-appointed chief selector Haroon Rashid, after consulting PCB chief Shahrayar Khan, selected Nasim.

Saad Nasim has played 3, T20 internationals for Pakistan.
