As expected it is not the roses of bed for Mohammad Amir returning to the national side after facing ban over involvement in spot fixing scandal. Although, Amir got support from some biggest superstars of the game like Virat Kohli, a former English cricketer Graeme Swann has unloaded harsh comments about the left arm bowler, who has feared the English camp even before the tour kicked off.
In a column for The Sun, the English spinner wrote: “Mohammad Amir will walk out on the green and glorious turf at Lord’s on Thursday — and it will make me feel sick,” wrote Swann. “This is a man who crushed the morality of the game. And yet he is being allowed back to play at the Home of Cricket.”
“Amir should have been banned for life for his part in the corruption scandal of 2010,” he further wrote in the column.
By doing so he was able to get the limelight but at the same time Mohammad Amir’s fans slammed Swann on social media.
