Off-spinner Saeed Ajmal who turned out to be a real threat against the World batsman has been appointed as Director Development Cricket in Sports Board Punjab (SBP) to bring out some exceptional talent from the grassroots level.
Ajmal, who arrived on international scene back in 2008 at age of 30 didn’t took much time to settle and started off boggling the big-wig batsman of the game, right from the word go.
“I am honored to be appointed as Director Development Cricket by chief minister and director general SBP to identify talented young cricketers,” Saeed Ajmal wrote on official Twitter account.

It will be worth mentioning here that Ajmal at peak of his career was reported of having inappropriate action, he later on returned with a different action but couldn’t be that impactful as he was in the past.
Even in the recently held Pakistan Cup 2016, he couldn’t impress selectors and therefore he was not even in the list of 35- shortlisted players for training and fitness sessions ahead of England Tour.
Ajmal shared this photo on his official Facebook:
This photo was captioned as: “I know who are our heroes are, as you all know picture below is full of our heroes. I will try my best to serve my country in searching and identifying young talented cricketers.”
