LAHORE: Australia’s speed gun Shaun Tait has joint the Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi who will be led by Pakistan T20 captain Shahid Afridi.
“Australian pacer Shaun Tait has reached an agreement with Peshawar Zalmi”, said, the official facebook page of PSL.
Shaun Tait, 32, who has played last international game in 2011 , was recently called for T20 series against Australia. Talking to Espncricinfo on his inclusion, Tait, said, ” I suppose I feel pretty privileged, honesty, to be called in at this stage of my career. nd obviously with a few injuries around, it has been timing and probably a little bit lucky. But you go through a career, you have bad luck and good luck. This is a good luck one for me and I will take it”.

Peshawar Zalmi will fancy its chances as Shaun Tait will share the pace attack with Wahab Riaz, Imran Khan Junior and Junaid Khan.
In Pakistan Super League (PSL), Peshawar Zalmi will start its campaign against Islamabad United on February 5.
