KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was surely disappointed on the cancellation of cricket series with India because that would obviously fill its account. But now PCB is expecting to get sufficient income through its schedule event of Pakistan Super League in Doha.
Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Sheharyar Khan has said that PCB is not thinking further about Plan B in case of cancellation of cricket series with India scheduled in December, 2015. Pakistan is still hopeful about Pak-India cricket series whereas on the other hand, Qatar has presented its second stadium as well to conduct PSL over there.
Olympic Committee Official, Essa Ali says in this regard that the conduction of Pakistani event in Qatar would help spreading cricket in our country. “It is our target to hold a big sports event in Qatar before FIFA World Cup 2022”, he added.
Sheharyar Khan admitted that Pakistan has to face a heavy loss in case Pak-India series got cancelled.
