Pakistan’s tour to Zimbabwe in the end of September

Pakistan has approved to tour Zimbabwe in end of September to play a series containing two Twenty20s and three ODIs.

Previously, Pakistan Cricket Board postponed the series for an unclear period but Zimbabwe Cricket chairman Wilson Manase, has said that the men in green shirts will be doing a tour the nation in the next month, according to the sources.

Pakistan after getting an important lead in points in the ICC ODI rankings, has delayed the tour to Zimbabwe as no agreement of dates was reached.

Pakistan are eighth in the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) ODI rankings after they beat Sri Lanka 3-2 and are in controversy to play the 2017 Champions Trophy if they managed to drive West Indies to the ninth position.

If the things stayed as they are before the ending date of September 30, Pakistan will enter the Champions Trophy race by leaving the 2004 winners out of the contest.

Media reports has suggested that Zimbabwe had invited the West indies to change the matters into a tri-series when Pakistan to visit them from 17th of August.
