Pakistan is aligning their weapons (players) against the high-flying England, and to get familiar with conditions they are playing against the Sussex. The 3-day match seems to be end as a draw as the third day play is delayed due to rain.
Mohammad Amir, Yasir Shah, Rahat Ali were on the bench for this game as Wahab Riaz, Imran Khan and Zulfiqar Babar replaced them. Pakistan bowling department didn’t remained the very same without Shah and Amir as Sussex made 200 runs opening partnership after Pakistan batting first set 363/5 declared.
Azhar Ali, the ODI captain is in some superb form scored 145 and led his team along with notable contributions from captain Misbah ul Haq and Younis Khan.
After this ongoing tour match which is likely to be draw, Pakistan will playing their first test match against England on 14th July, 2016.
No changes have been done in the batting order, while commenting announcing the playing XI against the Sussex, the newly appointed head coach Mickey Arthur said: “We had a pretty decent outing against Somerset. I would expect everyone shall maintain and improve on standards on display at Taunton in batting, bowling and fielding. We have to keep up with the benchmarks we have achieved so far, with the same intensity. Slacking off at any point would not be acceptable”.
