Sources has informed that the decision was taken by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Zimbabwe Cricket Board (ZCB) with joint understanding as the ZCB was facing problems concerning sponsors and broadcasting rights.

Officials from PCB has said Pakistani team would visit Zimbabwe in the next available time and will be decided later.

Recent victory in the ongoing ODI series in Sri Lanka has cleared the way for Pakistan’s chances of qualifying for the Champions Trophy tournament.

The Caribbean team, West Indies in conflict with Pakistan for the last available Champions Trophy position, is expected to be left out of the tournament if it fails to grab an ODI series before September.
