Pakistan needs 173 to win the second T20 as Kapugedera shines


Both the openers Perera and Dilshan got out after contributing with five boundaries collectively when Shoiab Malik and Anwar Ali did the damage for Pakistan.


The debutant left-hand Jaysuriya came in on one-down position and exhibited some real skill in designing the shot against Pakistani bowlers. However, he is not supported from the other end and wickets have been fallen consistently. Jayasuriya departed after making 40 on 32 by hitting 3 boundaries and 2 maximum.

Earlier, the Islanders elected to bat first after winning the toss in the second and final T20 against Pakistan being played at R. Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Pakistan has already won the first T20 and leads the series of two matches.

In this match, Sri Lanka has given two new players – DSNFG Jayasuriya and MD Shanaka – debut in this match.
