The flamboyant Pakistani opener Ahmed Shehzad is lauded as one of the most promising Pakistani cricketer of modern times, although many legends claim that Shehzad haven’t yet produced the stuff what he was really capable of doing so.
This opening star batsman have produced some brilliant knocks under pressure but his career so far hasn’t been that smooth as it was full of controversies.
Recently during Pakistan Cup 2016, he landed himself in trouble as he was alleged of breaking dressing room glass in anger. Some sources told that, Shehzad did it in anger as he wasn’t able to score a century in the match.
But today again proving his class, he scored a brilliant 143 runs against Sindh in a much needed match against Sindh.
Here it should be kept mentioned that, Shehzad is leading Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan Cup 2016 due to absence of Younus Khan.
He also showcased some brilliant captaincy skills, even the cricketing analysts appreciated the moves being made by Shehzad in the last match.
The ongoing match is his second match in Pakistan Cup 2016, and he have scored 79 and 143 respectively.
It was Shehzad’s 9th List A Career century, which led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to set a massive total of 319 on board.
The winner of this match will be booking his berth in the finals of this ongoing ODI pentagular tournament, and as Shehzad-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have strong control over the game it seems that they’ll be playing Pakistan Cup 2016 Final, which is due to held on 1st May, 2016.
