LAHORE: Tickets went on sale in Pakistan on Saturday for home series against Zimbabwe starting from next week in Gaddafi stadium, Lahore.

According to the sources, ticketing price ranges from 250 to 1500 for the first T20 International to be played on May 22 between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwean tour to Pakistan not only blesses a happy return of the cricketing days in Pakistan but it also will present a positive image of Pakistan to the world. Cricketing fans in Pakistan are also desperately waiting for the coming back of the excitement they get from watching live cricket matches.

Pakistan cricket board, celebrating the revival of cricket in the country, has invited officials of other boards to watch live these matches live in Lahore. The resources said that India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka have affirmed their coming to Lahore, while other boards have not given any reply as yet.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has succeeded to host a series in the country after a long striving in convincing other cricketing boards to send their national teams. Having security concerns, no one gave positive response at PCB’s proposals.

However, Zimbabwe will be the first nation which gave Pakistan a positive move by accepting the invitation gladly. For the revival of home-based cricket series, Pakistani authorities have beefed up the security level around the Gaddafi stadium in order to make the visiting team satisfied.

During Zimbabwean tour, security will be tighten and all the signals will be shut down and an heavy party of security forces is expected to escort the team from airport to the place of their stay.
