Pak vs Zim 2nd T20: Several changes expected in Pakistan side


Gaddafi Stadium: 2nd T20 match of two match series would be played today between Pakistan and Zimbabwe . Both the countries are thankful to each other, as Pak for ‘cricket comes home’ and Zim for great hospitality and protocol. 1st T20 match concluded as Pakistan wins by 5 wickets. Although this match was not the tough one but weak Zim’s grip in some parts alarmed the situation for Pak.


The match was full of entertainment for the ‘vigorous crowd’, which was hungry for International cricket at there doorstep. Revival of International cricket in Pakistan was a difficult task but never the impossible, proves Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) with cooperation of Zimbabwe Cricket Board.


Pakistani fans were triumphed with a victory; a victory million eyes dreamed off, a performance by a experienced bowler making his come back in the side and was awarded as the ‘Most successful bowler of the Match’ (Mohammad Sami), followed by the energitic performance of a young Batsman just making fifty on 26 balls (Mukhtar Ahmad) and a winning shot by skipper, when team was in minor trouble (Shahid Afridi).

As both the captains appreciated the role of crowd in the match. As it was house full and hundreds were even waiting outside the stadium to watch one of the historical match in Pakistan’s history.

Sources claim that there might be some changes in the side, however its a winning side and leads the series 1-0 of 2 match series.

Billawal Bhatti, who disappointed with the ball is said to leave the space for young all-rounder Imad Wasim or Hammad Azam.

Shoiab Malik, who was announced in T20 squad for his performance in national T20 Championship, may be replaced by youngster Nauman Anwar.

There is also possibility of one more change in the side, Umer Akmal or Hafeez can be dropped for not playing up to the mark.
